Dipping Pen (G-Pen/ Crowquill etc.) Drawings

This is my favourite section and it will have the most drawings in it. I'll be posting them and more in the other sections over the next few days and weeks. I drew the Roller derby posters since my discovery of old-school dipping pens like G-pens, crowquills etc. but I threw them together into another post. After finishing these drawings I scanned them and coloured most of them using Photoshop and my trusty Wacom tablet.

Photoshop Drawings

I was experimenting with my drawing tablet and did some all right stuff in Photoshop. I was drawing with some of the brushes I was matte painting with and nobody seemed to know they were digital drawings/paintings. The brushes were created to give the look of watercolours or dry-brush effect.

Roller Derby Posters!!

Did a bunch of Roller Derby posters a while back. Some turned out pretty well. I had a good time with them and was trying to emulate old Marvel comic book covers. By the end of the series I was thinking more like Raymond Pettibon's black flag artwork or something.

Pre Dipping-Pen Drawings.

Here's some pre dipping-pen drawings that were done likely using Pigma Micron pens and coloured in Photoshop using techniques I learned while painting backgrounds in the animation field. I have mixed feelings about some of these drawings but I'll put them up anyhow.
